Te Puke Veterinary Centre Ltd

Radiography

Te Puke Veterinary Centre is fully equipped to take high quality digital radiographs
(often called X-rays) of your pet.  Our veterinarians will discuss your pet’s case and
conduct a thorough physical examination to determine if your pet requires radiographs.
Radiographs are a very important tool to help us diagnose diseases in animals,
particularly for conditions involving bones, the chest or abdomen.

Your pet will usually stay in for the day to be sedated or anesthetised to take the
radiographs. We will show you and explain the radiographs and discuss the plan
with you when you collect your pet, or we will phone you earlier to discuss more
urgent cases.
